Cross Country Success
Congratulations to all of our Cross Country runners who took part in the recent South Ribble Cross Country Championships.
Special Visitors Attend the Awards Presentation Evening 2025!
Balshaw’s Church of England High School in Leyland has a long and rich history and a very active school archivists’ group who have researched Old Balshavians from the First and Second World Wars as well as interviewing previous Headteachers and students of the school.
Cross-Country Event for Year 7, 8 & 9
On Saturday 15th November, a team of Year 7, 8 and 9 students, took part in a cross-country event at Hutton Grammar School.
Cross-Country Event for Year 10 & 11
On Friday 14th November, a team of 18 Year 10 and 11 students, went to Hutton Grammar School to take part in a cross-country event.
Remembrance 2025
On Tuesday 11th November, we observed a silence and held remembrance services.
Megan Secures a Place at Steven Gerrard Academy
We are thrilled to share that Megan, who left Balshaw’s in June 2025, is following her passion and has secured a place at the Steven Gerrard Academy, on their Sports Media course.
Leyland Remembrance Parade 2025
Some of our senior prefects took part in the Leyland Remembrance parade on Sunday 9th November.
