On the 23/03/14 Year 8 and 9 pupils took part in two lessons delivered by Tomorrow’s Engineers.
Year 8 STEM club girls Olivia Foster, Jemma Gough, Madison Bolton, Heather Mulgrew, Eleanor Bird and Ruby Hill from Balshaws entered a national competition aimed at encouraging more girls into STEM subjects held by Talent 2030.

I arrived at the De Vere Hotel in Blackpool on the 13th November 2013 for a drinks reception with orange juice and Bucks Fizz for the adults. There were lots of people there. We were at table 13, which turned out to be an unlucky number!
