In February 2024, a group of Year 10 & 11 students and staff, went to Ávila in Spain.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time being immersed in all the history and culture along with Spanish lessons for the students. The students really enhance their Spanish skills during the lessons and must enjoy them as they continue to speak Spanish when they return!

Thank you to Tom, who wrote the following about his time away:

During our trip to Ávila, we visited many different historic places such as Segovia, Salamanca and even Madrid! All of the places that we visited were beautiful and Adolfo (our tour guide for the week) told us some very interesting and fascinating information about the different buildings and plazas. I would definitely recommend this trip not only because of the amazing sights but also to develop your Spanish. Throughout the trip we got to speak to many different people and learn about the Spanish culture. Also, during the trip we had Spanish lessons which further improved our vocabulary.
