Our Geography House Cup Challenge celebrates Earth Day on 22nd April.

This year the theme is Our Power, Our Planet and throughout the week there will be activities in Geography to mark Earth Day

•On Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday lunchtime there will be a David Attenborough documentary shown (in Room 45)
•On Thursday students will receive a grid during tutor.  Staff in school will be wearing a badge with a capital city and the country’s flag.  Identify 8 countries and hand your completed grid to a Geography teacher.  The first 10 students who hand in correctly completed grids will receive a prize
•Year 7-9: one of your Geography lessons this week will reflect on the Earth Day theme: Our Power, Our Planet
•Year 7-9: there will be a competition to design an Earth Day poster with house points to be won.  More information about this will be given by your Geography teacher
•Friday’s tutor quiz this week will be Geography themed (thank you Mr Potter!)
