MFL Celebration of the Mexican Tradition "Day of the Dead"

Our students in Years 7 and 8 learnt about the Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead.

In their MFL class, they discussed the Mexican belief that the soul can travel between worlds and they learnt how Mexican people prepare every November to welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives. To commemorate this event, students watched the film "Coco" and made beautiful Day of the Dead masks, as you can see in the photograph.
