Balshaw’s Darts Club Hits the Bullseye for Maths Engagement!
Balshaw’s High School has launched Balshaw’s Darts Club, an exciting initiative led by the school’s Maths teaching staff to boost numeracy and strengthen engagement with mathematics beyond the curriculum.

On Saturday 31st of January, a group of Year 9 students and staff set off on an exciting adventure to Paris for the Maths Disney Live event!

On Wednesday 28th January, our Under 14's girls' football team played in the Lancashire Cup.

On Tuesday 27th January, we were privileged to once again be invited to form part of the commemorations regarding Holocaust Memorial Day.

In November 2025, 30 of our students took a Career development trip to British Aerospace.

Rotary Youth Speaks - December 2025
Just before Christmas it was our pleasure to welcome Leyland and South Ribble Rotarians for the Rotary Youth Speaks competition. This year there were so many entrants the Intermediate and Senior Competitions were held on separate evenings.
