On Sunday 22nd March, our senior public speaking team travelled to Frodsham for the North of England Rotary Youth Speaks Grand Finals.
Among stiff competition, they managed to achieve 2nd place and were crowned runners up. Sophie excelled as Chair, Chloe spoke eloquently arguing that there is no such thing as an original idea and Rory expertly proposed the vote of thanks.
Both Dr. Breen and Mr. Keith Woodcock accompanying the team were impressed with the whole competition and thank Leyland and South Ribble Rotary Club as well as host Frodsham and Helsby Rotary Clubs and sponsor R.S.K. Environment Ltd. for providing funding for the cash prizes the winning teams received.
