Superb Staff Football Fundraiser!

On Tuesday 28th November, our amazing staff took part in a charity football match after school.

The teams were very evenly matched and the game was extremely competitive. Huge numbers of students and staff came out to support, encourage and cheer (as well as ask for their money back at the end when the blue team lost!!). A super game and lots of fun, that raised the fantastic amount of £143.50 for Lancashire Mind. However, there were a few injuries, pulled muscles and creaking bones the next day!

Well done to everyone who gave up their time to play or support on what was an incredibly chilly afternoon!

A special mention to Mr O’Neill for organising this fun event and also to Year 11 Finlay M for refereeing with no VAR as back up!
