Beth's Biathlon Brilliance

Beth A, in Year 9, has been continuing with her superstar swimming and has now added running to her skillset!

On Saturday 23rd March, Beth and her family, had a very busy day travelling to Bath. Beth was representing Balshaw’s in the British Schools Biathlon Championships on Sunday 24th March.

The biathlon was a 100M swim along with a 1,600M run. Beth came first in swim and eleventh in the run, which was also a PB for Beth that knocked 26 seconds off her previous time.

We absolutely delighted to say that Beth was confirmed in 3rd place for Britain for this event. What a wonderful achievement and we are so very proud of Beth. She is a very committed young person and her dedication has certainly paid off!
