Success at the NW School Sustainability Conference

On Thursday 27th June, a group of our Year 7, 8 and 9 students and staff went to the North West Sustainability Conference, held at Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Students in Year 7 were successful in winning their Production Line Challenge earning themselves wages and £100 for our school Eco council, Year 8 & 9 students came runners up in the STEM Eco Challenge winning our school Eco council £50 and themselves cash prizes and our senior students acted as guides for the primary schools and all our students were commended for their amazing leadership, politeness and enthusiasm.

Our school also won another fabulous owl to match the one from 2022! They are both starring in our trophy cabinet in the school entrance.

They were the first set of students to travel in our new minibus too!

Well done everyone, we are very proud of you all.
