Year 8 Girls' Fabulous Football!

On Tuesday 19th November, our Year 8 girls' football team took part in the 7-a-side South Ribble tournament.

It was an incredibly cold night and the girls played really well in the conditions. They drew the first 3 games 0-0 and thought they may have missed out on a top 3 finish. However, they won their remaining games 4-0, 1-0 and 1-0 again and we are delighted to share the news that they won the whole competition by a clear 2 points!

Well done everyone, you were fabulous. Going forward the team are certainly looking forward to playing without the need to wear gloves and thermals!
