Superb Swimming!

On Tuesday 10th December, a number of our students represented Balshaw’s at the South Ribble Swim Gala.

It was fantastic to see their team spirit in supporting and cheering for each other. Their behaviour was fantastic too!

Here are the wonderful results:

• The boys’ team finished in 3rd place, with two swimmers swimming up an age group, missing out on second place by less than half a second! 
• The girls’ team, made up of 3 x Year 7s and 1 x Year 8, finished in second place, missing out on first place by less than a second!
• The Year 9 girls’ team, made up 2 x Year 8 and 2 x Year 9, finished in second place!

It was such a privilege to support the students at this event.
