On Wednesday 1st October, Mrs Lupton took 4 super swimmers to Wigan to compete in the Northwest Secondary Schools swimming gala. This is the first time Balshaw's have entered a team into this event.
The races were a 4 x 50m medley relay and a 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
The girls were amazing, a pleasure to accompany and all swam really well!

Our fabulous team came 12th out of 25 in both medley and freestyle relays. All the grammar schools enter this competition, so I’m really proud of the girls!
