On Friday 14th November, a team of 18 Year 10 and 11 students, went to Hutton Grammar School to take part in a cross-country event. 

Special mention to Year 10 students, Dylan and Ava who finished 3rd in their respective races and both received bronze medals. 

The top 10 runners from each race go through to the Lancashire heat. Leighton, in Year 10, finished in 9th place. This means that 2 of our boys will be representing South Ribble in the Lancashire stages. 

Kate, in Year 10, finished in 5th place, Beth, in Year 11, finished in 7th place and then joined Ava in the Lancashire girls’ race. 

Congratulations to all of our runners. They all did superbly well and gave up their time to represent our school on one of their holiday days.
