On Tuesday 20th January 2026, our GCSE French students took part in a Film Study Morning at HOME Manchester.
They watched the French-language stop‑motion film Savages (PG), which explores themes of family, environmentalism, and indigenous identity, before taking part in an interactive workshop led by a native French speaker.
The session helped deepen their understanding of key GCSE topics while giving them the chance to use their language skills in a real‑world context.
Our students were excellent throughout the visit, engaging fully with the activities and clearly enjoying the experience.
