On Thursday 24th September, a group of Year 11 students, stepped up to represent the school in a football league fixture.
Several members of the squad were making their first ever appearance for a school football team, let alone in a competitive league match.
The team played brilliantly embracing the challenge, showing determination, teamwork and pride throughout the match.
The final score was Balshaw's 3, Leyland St. Marys 1.
Every player represented the school brilliantly and should be extremely proud of their achievement.
Well done.
