Cross-Country Event for Year 10 & 11
On Friday 14th November, a team of 18 Year 10 and 11 students, went to Hutton Grammar School to take part in a cross-country event.
Megan Secures a Place at Steven Gerrard Academy
We are thrilled to share that Megan, who left Balshaw’s in June 2025, is following her passion and has secured a place at the Steven Gerrard Academy, on their Sports Media course.
Anais Selected to Play for Lancashire!
Our very own Anais, in Year 9, has successfully been selected for the Lancashire football team and played her first game on Saturday 11th October in Birmingham VS Warwickshire.
Northwest Secondary Schools Swimming Gala
On Wednesday 1st October, Mrs Lupton took 4 super swimmers to Wigan to compete in the Northwest Secondary Schools swimming gala.
Inter-house Cross Country - October 2025

Finley Secures a Place!
In August 2025, we heard that Finley, in Year 11, was awaiting the decision about a place in the Great Britain Cycling Team Development Squad.

Year 7 Rounders Team - District Tournament
