Emmy Wins North West Regional Competition Translation Prize

Congratulations to Emmy M, in Year 10, who has won first place in the North West Regional Competition of the Translation Prize, which is run by Queen's College, Oxford University. 

Emmy won with her translation of Aurora Luque's poem, Aviso de Correos, from Spanish into English. Emmy showed great creativity and fluency with her thoughtful translation. 

Emmy received a fabulous certificate and her translation will now be put forward to the national competition. We are looking forward to hearing how that goes for Emmy!
