Year 7 Football Team Through to the Lancashire County Finals!

A huge well done to our Year 7 boys who beat Ripley St Thomas 7 - 2, on Tuesday 14th January, to reach the Lancashire Schools County Finals! They faced a strong team in Ripley however Balshaw's completely outclassed them in terms of teamwork and thoroughly deserved the win.

The boys are now in the finals which will be held at Darwen FC on Thursday 22nd May at 19.30pm. The finals for the U12 competition are done as a Final Fours format so the boys will need to beat three other teams on the night to be crowned the County Champions. 

After their performance however, they have every chance of being able to lift that trophy. Let's hope they can do it for themselves and the school!
