South Ribble District Cross Country

On Saturday 18th November, almost 40 of our students turned out to represent Balshaw's at the South Ribble District Cross Country.

It was luckily not raining but the course was a mud bath to say the least!

All of our students did amazingly well to complete the course in some fantastic times and we are awaiting the final team results to be sent through. We are very proud of all our students though for the efforts they gave for the team. 

 A special mention to the following students who finished in the top 3 in their race and received a medal:

• Anais L - 2nd place Year 7 girls' race
• Sophie R - 3rd place Year 7 girls' race
• Lucas P - 1st place Year 8/9 boys' race
• Oliver B - 3rd place Year 8/9 boys' race
• Beth A - 3rd place Year 8/9 girls' race (although she was actually 2nd and given the wrong ticket on the finish line!!)
