Superstar Phoebe

We are delighted to share the news that Phoebe L, in Year 8, has been a real superstar in the fabulous world of cheerleading. In April 2024, Phoebe was lucky enough to travel to Florida in America to take part in an international competition. Phoebe also won an award for International Cheerleader of the Year from her cheer group Mystique.

Phoebe’s Mum sent us the information below to share about this exciting time:

Phoebe was chosen from over 100 cheerleaders in her team Mystique to compete as a "flyer" in April this year in an international cheerleading competition in Florida America. The team Mystique Mockingjay won a bid from a UK Competition to be able to compete for the worlds title, there were teams from all over the world. Not only was this an amazing experience for Phoebe it was a great team building/bonding experience and has given her so much confidence.

 

Phoebe's team Mockingjay came 15th which is amazing in itself.

 

Phoebe also recently, won an award at her cheerleading team Mystique for International Cheerleader of the Year.

What a wonderful experience for Phoebe and her team! We are very proud of Phoebe and look forward to hearing more about future competitions and success.
